Breast Enlargement; also known as breast implant surgery or breast augmentation surgery, is a procedure used to increase the size of the breasts.

During breast enlargement surgery the surgeon places breast implants in to the breast via a small incision. The incisions are most often made in the crease of the breast, but our surgeons will also insert the implant through the arm pit if requested. Our surgeons use the Mentor Brand of implants if using round implants and Allergan or Eurosilicone brand other implant types. All of these brands are recognized as being the top in the world.

Breast augmentation surgery generally lasts for around 1 – 2 hours and is performed under a general anesthetic. When having breast augmentation surgery in Thailand you will be required to stay overnight at the hospital. The day after your surgery, your surgeon will come to check everything and remove your drains and then it is fine for you to go back to your hotel. You will be asked to stay in Thailand for seven days after surgery (nine days in total if including your arrival day and day of surgery) for proper follow up. You will have one or two follow up appointments with the surgeon to remove dressing and stitches before you go home.

Breast lift surgery is a type of surgery to lift the bust-line. During this type of surgery the surgeon makes incisions and removes excess tissue from the breasts, the overall result is that the bust-line sits higher. There are a few different ways in which a surgeon may perform Breast lift surgery.

The surgeons will be able to let you know which type of incisions you will need in order to get the best result. The type of incision needed depends on the amount of ptosis (drooping) in the breast.

The reason for this is that for many women that need to have breast lift surgery, the ptosis in the breast has meant that the upper pole of the breast loses its fullness. The surgeons therefore recommend inserting an implant to bring fullness to the upper pole and to give the breast a great overall look after surgery. This type of surgery takes 2 – 3 hours to perform, requires a 1 or 2 day stay in hospital and the recommended length of stay after surgery is fourteen days.
