If you are coming to Thailand for Liposuction, your surgeon may recommend one of a few different types of liposuction. The first option is known as traditional liposuction, and our surgeons also use laser liposuction; namely Cooljet and Vaser Liposuction.

Traditional liposuction is the original method of liposuction before they introduced the laser type liposuctions. During traditional liposuction a fine solution is passed in to the area via a small cannula or a fine tube to break up the fat cells which are then removed by a syringe or a vacuum pump. With laser liposuction lasers are used to melt the fat cells underneath your skin before the liposuction is started, which makes it easier to remove the fat. This type of liposuction is also said to be less invasive and to offer easier recovery and overall smoother effect after surgery.

When you send in your information during your online consultation the surgeon will recommend which type of liposuction is best for you. The surgeons make their recommendation based on your skin tone and elasticity. Liposuction continues to be one of the most commonly performed cosmetic surgeries here in Thailand and Laser liposuction is the most popular. The cost for liposuction is then charged per area and it is possible to have up to eight areas of liposuction done at any one time. The recommended length of stay in Thailand if having liposuction is nine days in total.
